33rd National Conference on Developmental Psychology

We had the great pleasure of presenting our poster titled “Fathers in Theory, Mothers in Practice? Inequalities in Childcare” at the 33rd National Conference on Developmental Psychology.

This year, the presentation was delivered by Wiktoria Bąchorek and Marta Bryzek. They used data from the second round of the Generations and Gender Survey to explore two key questions: 'Is the division of childcare responsibilities equal, regardless of the parent's gender?' and 'How satisfied are mothers and fathers with the existing division of duties?'. The results varied significantly across the six countries analyzed.
